Would you let me borrow your umbrella?

"A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining, but wants it back the minute it begins to rain." -Mark Twain

Everyone gets screwed over from time to time by others. By doctors. By car salesmen. By realtors. By strangers. By boyfriends/girlfriends. Even by bankers. But it hurts worst when it's by best friends. It's ruthless and cold, but most of all unexpected.
If a cruel fate like that ever was to happen to you, remember, keep your head up and don't look back. Know who you are and stay true to that, even when you are criticised by those whose opinion matters most to you. Stand behind what you believe in and don't loose faith.
If a banker, or any other person, would lend me his umbrella on a sunny day and take it back on a rainy one, I'll forgive and forget and on the next rainy day, let him borrow my umbrella. Because isn't the most important lesson in life to forgive and forget?
